2) The strings must also be removed from the bridge of the guitar in order to fix your guitar stings easily. The bridge is at the body of the guitar and near to the bottom of it and this is the place where all of the strings on the guitar laced through before they can be wired into their tuning pegs. In order to be able to put your new strings into their places, you are going to have to get rid of all of the strings from the bridge.
3) The next step of how to fix guitar strings is cleaning the frets of your guitar by a piece of cloth and making it clean completely. If you want to make a quality sound from your guitar, you need to make sure that the grime on the fingerboard is cleansed from all its dirt and it is ready for you to play. The usage of a guitar body polish is very popular in these areas. Do not forget to clean the body of the guitar with polish spirit and an old soft rag. Cleanse the body of the guitar in a circular motion and go from the outside of the body towards the inside and also handle the dirt around the pickups.
4) Get a new package of guitar strings from your local music shop and open the package and take the strings outside. You can guess the order of the strings because they have different thickness and each string is gauged. Also in order to prevent getting all of the strings entangled to each other, they come with their separate envelope. It is a cool trick of how to fix guitar strings to remove the envelopes from the outside package and not touching the envelopes until the guitar is ready to accept the strings.
5) It is recommended to start with the E string at the bottom and firstly put one of its ends through the hole of the bridge and fix the other end of the string inside the hole of the tuning peg. After doing that, you need to pull the string taut above the guitar’s body at an angle of 90 degrees. After that, place the winder on the tuning head and slowly but firmly, turn the winder. While turning, the winder will tighten the string and this process will wind the string around its tuning peg.
6) You need to take the next string on your hands and repeat the process that has been described above cautiously. The process that is required to be done for the remaining five strings is no different than what you have done for the low E string.
